SCORPION’S ORCHID by Eva Gale
Eva Gale presents a bleak future full of glimpses of hope with this tale. Plants are illegal, religion has basically been abolished and some youth have been mutating into giant spiders. OK as an official spider-hater I admit that was enough to horrify me, but plants being illegal? Religion abolished? There’s something wrong with a society where beauty and hope have been taken away. Fortunately there are people like Martin and Katerina who refuse to give up their beliefs. 5 Blue Ribbons from Romance Junkies!

Hand of Fate by Eva Gale was a wonderful period piece set in 1880 Boston. Gale tells a story of an unlikely couple who have more in common than they first expect. Caden carelessly insults Abigail at their first meeting, and Abigail in turn abuses her powers by giving him a very different sort of palm reading. When Abigail shows up at his office to apologize, sparks fly again, but with a very different result… Caden is a man who will at first irk you to no end, and then turn right around and charm your socks off, much like he did with Abigail. Indeed, it is the Abigail’s disbelief that someone from the upper class could ever want to marry a woman with her social standing that keeps this couple apart for as long as they are. But men like Caden don’t rise to the top without a fair amount of grit and determination, and he uses every bit of it in his bid to win Abigail’s hand. Kwips and Kritiques ~5 Klovers

Hand of Fate is a charming tale of a girl who wishes to break from the hold of her mother’s reigns so to speak. Abigail feels she is living in a freak show. I found her strong on the inside but afraid to step out of her shell. It was sad watching the characters be something that they were not. Ms. Gale shows that with just a bit of perseverance that things often work out for those, especially in love.
Fortune’s Fool is a stirring selection of stories that lend great creativity between four talented authors. Each character has an individualism that stands out and brings a certain aura to the storyline. I found the themes cleverly created and look forward to more pleasant tales from these amazing storytellers.

I could not get enough of Caden and his careless attitude. The verbal sparring between himand Abby made my reading very interesting. I certainly did not mind the increased sexual activity. Caden and Abby caused sparks to fly from mydesktop. However, I could not stop reading for a toy break because I so
wanted to know how the couple would deal with their difference in station. I related to both of the characters on many levels. 4/5 Star, Suni Farrar JERR

101 Degrees Fahrenheit
On the hottest night of the year, Kathy is about to close her shop when a handsome ‘stranger’ takes a seat in her barber’s chair. What ensues is smoother than the closest shave.

Had 101 Degrees Fahrenheit been longer, I’m not sure if I would’ve been able to handle it. A wonderfully short and hot story, Ms. Gale manages to pack more plot and heat in her 22 pages than many authors do in a full-length novel. Kathy and her new lover are beyond incendiary, they each desire to please the other fully and work at expressing their emotions in the most erotic and tender ways possible. Their connection to each other is a pleasant surprise for the reader, and I found myself chuckling at Ms. Gale’s witty telling of this couple’s erotic discoveries. I am very eager to see what Ms. Gale will do with a longer story. I know I’ll be keeping my eye on this new author while giving thanks that quality erotic romance is still alive.

101 Degrees Fahrenheit certainly has some steam rolling off the pages with each magical turn. The story spins creativity with Kathy ever so desiring the handsome luminous man in her shop. It is just a slow temptation that simmers like a soup stewing on a hot stove with Dean making all the right moves. It begins warm and sensual then continues to raise a notch releasing heat that laces between the pages. Ms. Gale pens a fantastic plot, some incredible writing and explosive heat that captivates. The characters were so well composed, they almost came to life. This is one erotic connection that creates a hot, dynamite, sensual read, packed inside this page-turner.
